About Us

Chisler Outdoor was founded in the heat of the pandemic. Like most folks, after months of worry, the only thing I wanted to do was spend as much time as I could outside. Living in Southern Utah where masks were, lets say, 'optional,' going into town for food and bottled water was something I did not look forward to.

It rains way more in the desert that one may think. Even having a stream next to my campsites, it smelled like agricultural runoff (manure, chemicals) so filtering was always a risk.

Then it hit me: COLLECT THE RAIN.

A few crude attempts later, I had the beginnings of the Muenster.

24 months of work passed and Chisler Outdoor was formed, the patent was submitted, insurance was paid, production was in full swing, all my money was gone, and I couldn't be happier.

Since then this thing has developed into a growing number of environmentally aware, socially conscious, and happy group of adventures. And its all thanks to you! 

Building communities person to person is the right way to do it. Sharing my story and hearing yours. Its great. I love it. Thank you for being here with me and helping this community grow.
